BalochEhr brother - I don't think anybody on this forum would have any reason or motive to abuse the Balochi people... :)

Most of us are just ignorant about Balochi issues...

Raman is from Kashmir, by the way :) - I think you and him will also find a lot of common ground... Both under abuse of the central Pakistani regime etc...

Yeah I thought so , I think it was some crap made up by German/European scholars to support the idea that some blonde blue eyed people came and conquered the dravidians and the Brahui are the descendents because they have retroflexive consanants , but even Pashto which is an iranic language is full of retroflexive consonants .

Balochistan - A Forgotten Country

PostAuthor: BalochEhr » Fri Dec 21, 2007 6:35 pm

To all,
That day when i used word abuse because every time we heard this on internet and from pakistanis here in Balochistan, that why it looked unacceptable....well as you may know that now days pakistan secret services have an internet unit, they track and transmit false propaganda about Baloch people.
I dont mean that Raman is a pakistani agent.

Topic Change!
I have seen on Roj Bash that says Kurds in Balochistan speak Kurmanji language, well Kurd is a Baloch tribe in Balochistan they speak Brahui langauge. Their areas where they live are Bolan, Dasht, Espilinji, Dahdar(eastern Balochistan) and Zahedan(in western Balochistan).
Should we discuss bit the Kurmanji dailect!

Brother - Raman is an Indian-Kashmirian... He abhores/detests/dislikes Pakistan...

So I doubt he is a Pakistani agent...

Apart from the "Kurd" tribe - there are Kurmancî speaking Kurds in Afghanistan, Balochîstan, Turkmenistan and Pakistan... These were spread out by the Saffavids and later regimes of Iran...

Well Diri,
I said before, that "I dont mean that Rman is a Pakistani agent". You are right there maybe Kurmanji speaking Kurds in other places but in Balochistan!!?
Tell me where they live, who speak kurmanji in Balochistan...thats another question that Balochi and Brahui languages are called kurmanji by you.
Show me Kurmanji speaking people in Balochistan then i well salute you..not those who learned the language now but those who speak it from thr "begining"
I stand on my words! show me?

I'm not putting forward a revolutionary or new thesis or theory... It is a fact that there are even Kurds in Afghanistan who still speak their language...

And no - I've never heard of people calling Balochi and Brahui speaking Baloches for "Kurmancî" speakers... Where did that come from?

They may well have assimilated by now - but we had members on THIS forum who were from Afghanistan and Pakistan - and who were Kurds... One from each of the two... Perhaps the one in Pakistan was not in Balochistan - but in Punjab, Pashtunistan or Sindh... I have no idea - and I can't remember having asked him...

So how do Baluchi peoples look like ? I have never met any , so I am curious to know . Someone said they dont phenotypically look like Kurds , which is somewhat misleading since Kurds do have a variety of looks ,from what I have seen in photos, videos and articles in national Geographic (1988 and 1975) .
