I have been receiving some really nasty comments on this site because I dared to accuse Ocalan of betraying the PKK. My friend has been receiving threats on her facebook account because I used it when mine was blocked.

I stated that Ocalan would be telling the PKK to leave Turkey but most people would not take any notice.

When Ocalan himself tells PKK to leave Turkish soil perhaps then others will realise exactly what he has become since his imprisonment :ymdevil:

I have had several Kurdish friends from West Kurdistan. They are the forgotten Kurds. They are the most hated of all Kurds by the other ethnic groups around them. There are virtually no mixed marriages between Kurds and Arabs. Yet they are morally and culturally the strongest and proudest of all Kurds.

Thousands of Syrian Kurds joined the PKK to fight for an Independent Kurdistan. Now, when they really need the support of the PKK, Ocalan is about to make the PKK surrender. This will leave Kurds in Syria struggling and is a betrayal of the trust Syrian Kurds put in Ocalan, and a betrayal of the 7,000 plus Syrian Kurds who died fighting in the PKK X(

I am not even certain that the Ocalan involved in talks is the real Ocalan. Perhaps it is just me, but I find it difficult to believe that a man who inspired thousands of Kurds to fight and die for a free Kurdistan could now hate those very people so much that he could become a traitor to them

It troubles me that Ocalan's lawyers have not been allowed contact with his for more than 18 months. WHY? Ocalan's lawyers would know if the man involved in the so-called peace talks is the real Ocalan. After all the previous conversations they have had, the lawyers are the only people who know how he felt and how he behaved. The only people who have been allowed to visit Ocalan recently are those who have not seen him for years. Something is seriously wrong X(

erDOGan cannot run for prime-minister again, so as we all know he is hoping to become President and give the post greatly strengthened powers. In order to do so he has to get rid of the PKK and improve the rights of Kurds in Turkey to enable the Turkey's EU application to progress. Any freedoms Kurds may receive within the next few months will be entirely due to erDOGan's urge for power and need for EU approval. It will have absolutely NOTHING to do with Ocalan surrendering of the PKK.

erDOGan has repeatedly stated that he will NOT allow Kurds in Syria or Turkey to have any form of independence or autonomy.

I refer you to my Thoughts of the day every day in 2013:

I'm a PKK supporter and still are and I don't Change my mind if Öcalan says something what I don't like.

Murat Karayilan, prominent PKK leader: “Erdoğan must know that we are from Kurdistan, that we love this country and that we paid great prices for this country. In response to Erdoğan who offers two alternatives, either to become Turk and agree on a single nation or to leave the country, I say that it is him who must leave this territory which is Kurdistan and is our country. Everyone should know that guerrillas of the freedom movement and the resistance of the Kurdish people will remain alive as long as the armed repression and political slaughter of the Kurdish people continue.”

(http://www.ekurd.net/mismas/articles/mi ... ey4387.htm)

But I'm still under shock after I've listen Öcalans comments today. They read his letter at the Newroz in Amed today in front of more than a Million People.

And to outline some Statements. " Turks and Kurds fought together in Canakkale and died together"
" We build up this Country together"
" Brotherhood of Turks and Kurds"
" that Kurds and Turks live together in peace"
" It must be an option that PKK will leave Turkey to stay outside the borders if the circumstances allow this.

I almost barf after I listen These things.

To sum it up shorty. Not one word about that what this goddamned Turks and Turkey did to us and still does. Not one word about Kurdish Independence/autonomy, let alone Country. Öcalans letter was like. Kurds want peace, Kurds love the Turks, both should live together in peace and brotherhood. That's it. And I peronally asked me, aha, Kurds should be mountain Turks again and should surrender and stop thinking about autonomy and Country.

It seems for me that Turks manipulate his brain after beeing 14 years in jail. Öcalan was a Patriot and a proud Kurd before he came to jail but nowadays he is a confused man who doesn't know what to say.

PKK wants Kurdish Independence/autonomy, Öcalan don't. Sadly, what jail can make. He was a high leader, a proud Kurd but that time must be over. PKK must understand that.

But the PKK is that what Öcalan says, so you dont can say I agree with the PKK but not with Öcalan.

Even if Karayilan said some patriotic words, with which I also agree, at the end he dont can put his words over Öcalans words, so if his words do not match with Öcalans words, it has no legitimacy for the PKK and even not for Karayilan.

The PKK and Karayilan will follow that what Öcalan said today.

I know. I just wanted to say that we have many nationalist patriotic fighters in the PKK who fights for autonomy and a Country inlucidng Karayilin and I love this fighters . But I agree. This nationalists and patriots can't do anything about this. Öcalan is like a God and PKK and the North Kurds always do what this manipulated man says. There are some PKK supporters like me, who want to end this Öcalanmania but we don't have the force to do that. 95 % of PKK supporters are blind and follow this "Kurdish" Leader. I feel, North Kurds must be ready now to be Turks again. Very very sad..
