Bodyguards of Kirkuk police chief injured

Four of the body guards of Major General Jalal Tahir, the chief of the Kirkuk police have been injured as an planted bomb exploded near their vehicle.

Colonel Anwar Qadir, the Rahimawa police chief told Kirkuk Now “The bomb exploded by the convoy of the bodyguards of Major General Jamal Tahir on the Rahimawa bridge today, May 2.”

“Four of the bodyguards of Jamal Tahir were injured in the blast,” he added.
