YPG responses to the formation of "Political Unity" by Kurdi

PostAuthor: Shirko » Sun Oct 13, 2013 6:05 pm

People's Defense Units (YPG) Commander Sipan Hemo has released an open letter criticizing the formation of a ‘İtihad Siyasî’, "Political Unity", by the Azadi, Yekiti and El parties.
Hemo remarked that the three parties were involved in armed gang groups' attacks on Rojava and harmed the revolution "more then enemies".
Hemo stressed that the stance and decisions of Kurdish political parties went contrary to the fragile process West Kurdistan is currently going through. He said these parties were after different political purposes not serving the unity of the Kurdish people. According to Hemo, this leads to a great gap in the Kurdish politics, and the political structure of none of the Kurdish parties was adequate to fill this gap.
Hemo pointed out that the resistance and military defense of the YPG has enabled the manifestation of the presence of the Kurdish question, and the fact that the Syrian conflict will not end unless this problem is resolved.
Hemo stressed that it was thanks to the brave struggle and resistance of YPG fighters that today the whole world is addressing remarks to Kurds and calling on Kurds to take parts in all platforms concerning this issue.
Hemo remarked that the formation of the "Political Unity" constituted an obstacle to the resistance of the Kurdish people in Rojava, noting that these three Kurdish parties have launched numerous attacks against YPG, involved in the massacres of civilians in Til Hasil by the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Levant) and provided support to the armed groups fighting against Kurds in West Kurdistan.
Addressing his remarks to all political parties, organizations and movements in Rojava, Hemo said none of the parties fulfilled their responsibilities in this historic process.
Hemo added that they would release some documents exposing the true face of these parties should all parties fail to agree on Kurdish national unity.

YPG stand on kurdish unity , result = Fail
İtihad Siyasî = no one cares and they do not mean much anyway .

YPG need to address the existence of other Kurdish political parties by involving everyone in the process instead of accusing them being such and such . YPG is copy and paste of PKK .

But how can they trust each other if what the YPG claims are true about these other parties attacking and or assisting in attacks against Kurdish civilians?

And the YPG seems to be more main stream and much more appealing, so it is different in many ways from the PKK. Not sure if you mean just in their political actions.

Far too many outsiders in Syria - even the Kurdish families living there are becoming over-run by Kurds from elsewhere - many groups keep changing their allegencies - very few real facts are coming out of Syria - the only truth we are sure of is that innocent people are dying and very few people outside of Syria know or care what is happening X(

Do not get me wrong , I fully support every kurd who stand up for their nation no matter what their ideology is , however you can never run a region or a country with one single party . YPG rejects , beats , jail , torture and in some cases kill any kurd who disagree with their ideology . KNC is almost diminished in western kurdistan due to YPG's tactics of oppression which is just not right . KNC was/is weak and instead of YPG taking KNC under their wings they pushed them away and accuse them of being turkey's puppets due to KNC strong relation with KRG .

KNC in return joined the FSA (which is even more stupid ) to gain recognition ,legitimacy and financial support .

Is there a possibility that so called tihad Siyasî members fighting against YPG ? Certainly yes and I have no doubt in my mind .
Is/was YPG fighting against tihad Siyasî using evey mean possible ? certainly yes and I have no doubt in my mind .

The short answer is that YPG is PKK is PJAK . Most if not all their main fighting forces are PKK/PJAK fighters who withdraw from Eastern Kurdistan after they struck a deal with Iran who offered them support in return for withdrawing and not getting involved in the conflict in syria , otherwise YPG would have never been able to stand up to the FSA and Alnusra . Most of their fighters are hard core PKK/PJAK fighters with years of experience .

We are doing good against our enemies , but we suck when dealing with each other . Kurd dujmini xoya (kurds are their own enemie )
