Today evening, Wednesday Nov 5, 2013, Dr. Barham Salih, PUK Deputy of Secretary General, received Nikolay Mladenov, Special Representative of Secretary General of the United Nations to Iraq, and his accompanying delegate.
Discussing Iraq and Kurdistan`s situation, as well as the latest changes in the region, were the main themes of the meeting.
The recent parliamentary elections of Kurdistan Region, the next elections of Iraqi Parliament, relations between the Region and the United Nations were also among the most important topics that were discussed.
Both sides of the meeting emphasized on strengthening the relations and working hard for solving the pending political issues of the area.
