SOMALIA: al shabab turned off mobile - could it be Syria

SOMALIA: al shabab militants tonight turned off Mobile Internet services in the regions under their Administration.

Al-qadia-linked Alshabab Militants stopped tonight the use of mobile internet service in all the regions that comes under their custody.

Armed alshabab militants have forced into the telecommunication company centers who are operating in these Alshabab ruled regions and ordered them to shut down the mobile internet system.

On 6th this month, Alshabab issued mobile interner ban to all telecommunication companies to stop the mobile internet services.

Some of the districts they switched of the Internet Service tonight include Bardhere, Dinsor, Bulo Marer, Barawe, Bulo Barde, Elbur and all other areas that remains under the watch of Alshebab..

Residents in those areas reported that at 9:30 evening, Alshabab group turn off the Service.
