I have friends who are genuine refugees and were victims of torture in their countries of origin
They are just happy to be alive - they do not care where they are housed as long as they and their families are safe

The concreting over of Green Belt land to make room for extra housing due to the South East England's influx of refugees is absurd - and causes a great deal of resentment - especially when there are so many parts of Northern England which contain half empty housing estates
So few refugees in the UK are actually genuine it makes it hard for those who are - those who like the Yazidis really genuinely need help and support in order to stay alive
I know a great many so-called refugees who claim government money - work in friends kebab shops and barbers - and even have homes in their country of origin which they return to every year for their summer holidays
Those people should lose their status in UK - be thrown out - let the UK and other countries make room for those who desperately need help
