The easiest way to reduce weight is to eat healthy food and chew it until melts in your mouth. You become fat because you eat unhealthy food and too much of it. But eating healthy food and chew it a lot makes you feel full up quickly before eating 1/3rd of the meal.

Today I added two new ingredients to my diet, Avocado virgin oil and balsamic vinegar. Both are very healthy but expensive. A 250ml avocado virgin was £4.50 but a worthwhile cost. But it has a problem, it is in a glass bottle, which can oxidise when you use it and start contacts with new air. But I will find a solution. From now on as long as I can find it I will buy it instead of extra virgin olive oil. The followings are some useful links;

Avocado virgin oil: http://superfoodprofiles.com/avocado-oi ... il-cooking

Balsamic Vinegar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balsamic_vinegar

Guess what!!! balsamic vinegar made from grapes.

Thank you for the links :ymapplause:

I had never even heard of Avocado virgin oil

I know the reason I became fat - I ate far too much

I know the reason I am slowly losing weight - I am eating a less

ALL fat people should remember:

If it does not go in (as in the mouth) - it does not go on (hips stomach or anywhere else) :o)

I think I read about it before or I have seen it in Holland and Barat shops.

But yesterday I saw it in Sainsbury Supper store at Sava Centre. I usually buy Manoka honey at Stratford Sainsbury because it is cheaper. I have not seen it there. You can not find it every where because I think it is a bit rare. It comes from New Zealand likle Manoka honey.

By the way chewing your food a lot, helps to lose appetite to eat more before eating 1/3rd of the meal. You become tired and fed up eating any more. :-D

Vinegar Balsamic is very tasty with vegetables and salad. The best one and the most famous of course is from Modena (Italia). I use it also tp replace soy sauce, on rice, fish, etc.

Those stupid rules will only make people turn against Jews and Muslims at a time when we should all be trying to find common grounds and ways to come together X(

If Muslims expect countries to alter our books to meet Islamic doctrine they are crazy

A) they had better alter all their books and remove all articles that declare Islam to be the one true religion - very offensive to Christians

B) remove the burkas and Sharia laws and follow UK laws and dress codes

C) stop trying to turn UK into a Muslim country - if they want to live in a Muslim country they should go and live in one

BYE BYE

I wish to complain about the bad press carrots receive

People with ginger hair are often referred to as carrot tops

Poor defenceless carrots are often stuck into the heads of snowmen to provide a nose for same

Bugs Bunny is often seen eating a carrot while calling out "What's up Doc"

Carrots are an excellent root vegetable and when sugar was in short supply during the previous war - carrots were used as sweeteners in cakes

Under some stupid EU ruling carrots must be a certain shape in order to be sold in EU countries - a large percentage of the carrots pulled are thrown away as waste because they are not the correct shape

Probably 40-50% of UK farm produce is thrown away because it it not the correct shape X(

Do people who are starving really care what shape the carrot is - I think not

One of the properties of carrot is that it become healthier if cooked.

My wife used to make carrot cakes. They were really testy and sweet.

I did not know that :-o

Often people put raw carrots in salads - not very pleasant - people eat them raw because they are deemed to be healthy - I much prefer mine cooked (by someone other than myself)

I myself surprised. But some thing for sure is this, we lose all the enzymes although we get better health benefits from cooking. I think wet cooking like boiling kills all enzymes over 50c but dry cooking like hot air as in the actifry pot enzymes resist heat to over 60/70c.

I found some thing else more surprising, cooking whole carrots increases their anti cancer benefits:

I am glad I bought myself an actifry :D

I just cooked chips in mine - left them on a paper towel no grease at all - just lovely and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside :))

Going to try cooking carrots in it next time

I bought mine simply to cook frozen chips but so far I have not yet used it. I think I have to discard the existing frozen chips I have. It has become too old.

You can find a lot of tips about how to use actifry to roast food on youtube.

Chips in Britain means potato chips. Obviously if you want you can make carrot chips. I have not seen carrots cooked in the oil like chips, but seen fried carrots with actifry on youtube.
