Pilot Zaharie Shah Committed Suicide & Killed Everyone Else On Malaysia Airlines Flight

An aviation expert who has been researching the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 says it is likely the pilot committed suicide.

Ewan Wilson, a New Zealand-based air accident investigator and the founder of Kiwi Airlines, believes captain Zaharie Shah was mentally ill and that his actions ultimately resulted in the deaths of all those on board.

Furthermore Wilson, a veteran commercial pilot himself, alleges five previous incidents of “murder/suicide” in the aviation industry over the past three decades.

Wilson, whose book Good Night Malaysian 370: The Truth Behind The Loss Of Flight 370, was released in July, is in Birmingham to meet with aviation experts to discuss his findings and “have a candid chat about mental health screening for pilots in the airline industry.”

He told the Birmingham Mail: “There is a fundamental desire to ignore the mental health issue in the aviation industry.

“We have shown why hijacking by a passenger or accidental depressurisation are highly unlikely scenarios.

“By process of elimination, this leaves pilot suicide as the only other serious option in our analysis of what occurred on March 8.

“Our research indicates there have been five previous incidents of murder/suicide in commercial flights over the last three decades or so, accounting for 422 lives.

“The sad addition of MH370 would bring that number to 661.”

Wilson’s book, which was co-authored by investigative journalist Geoff Taylor, surmises passengers aboard the doomed jet died of oxygen starvation before Shah deliberately ditched the plane in the Indian Ocean.

The authors say the most likely scenario is that Shah deliberately depressurised the cabin, thereby depriving those on board of oxygen and causing them to lose consciousness for up to four hours before the Boeing 777 disappeared beneath the waves.

Although oxygen masks would have dropped down automatically from above the seats, the available supply was limited to just 20 minutes.

Those unable to grab a mask, including sleeping passengers, would have passed out within the space of a few minutes.

The entire 'ghost plane', including her cabin crew whose air supply is only marginally longer, would have slipped into a coma and died shortly after from hypoxia.

Shah, who locked his co-pilot out of the cockpit, survived long enough - either by re-pressurising the aircraft, or from breathing his own, more extensive air supply - to evade radar and "execute his master plan", the pair conclude.

They say he then performed a controlled ditching in the sea, which would explain why no debris has been found because the plane landed and sank in one piece.

An earlier report from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) also concluded that passengers may have died from hypoxia, and Malaysian authorities have previously named Shah as their prime suspect.

While Wilson stressed incidents of suicide flights are “highly unusual experiences”, he called for “more proactive tests for mental health screening”

He added: “This isn’t a witch hunt. Pilots should be encouraged to have mechanisms to feel free to say if they have got pressure in their lives and need some assessment.”

If he depressurised passenger cabin passengers, using their mobile, would have contacted their loved ones by calls or texts after seen oxygen mask coming down. If this version is true he wouldn't have taken trouble to take all the diversions or go near west Australia. He could have gone to the middle of indian ocean, a shorter route, if he was trying to create a sort of mystery disappearance.

A former airline boss and writer claims the U.S. downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 because the military feared it had been taken over by hackers and was about to be used in a 9/11-style attack.

Marc Dugain, the former chief executive of now-defunct Proteus Airlines, said the jumbo jet was shot down near a U.S. military base on the remote island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean after it was hacked.

He told Paris Match that islanders in the Maldives near Diego Garcia told him they saw the missing aircraft flying low.

Dugain spoke of a fisherman on a small island who spoke of a 'huge plane' in Malaysie Airline's colours on March 8.

He also said islanders had found an empty fire extinguisher from the plane in the water near Baarah island.

The Senegal-born Frenchman, who is now a successful novelist, also told a radio station he was warned not to investigate MH370 by an intelligence source, who spoke of 'risks' and counselled him to 'let time do its work'.

Last week grieving family members of Chinese passengers from a missing Malaysia Airlines flight protested outside the foreign ministry in Beijing Friday accusing the government of failing to provide them with regular updates on the search for the aircraft.

About 30 people, many of them elderly, gathered at the gates of the ministry with temperatures approaching freezing and were confronted by a line of police.

They demanded to speak to government officials in a bid to get more information on the search for flight MH370. Police manhandled and pushed protesters that attempted to enter the gate and warned passersby to leave the area immediately.

'My son is alive and I want to know what the government is doing to find him,' said Liu Dianyun, the mother of one of the passengers.

Some drove for two hours to attend the demonstration, despite acknowledging that their efforts were unlikely to produce results.

Chinese passengers account for about two-thirds of the 239 people who were aboard the Boeing 777, which vanished on March 8 en route from Kuala Lumpur to China's capital.

Dozens of their relatives were reportedly beaten and arrested earlier this year.

Australia has been spearheading the hunt for the plane, which is believed to have crashed in the southern Indian Ocean off western Australia.

I disagree with this claim. If it was true USA wouldn't have hid it. If it was hacked and on the way to hit a US target USA would have a legitimate right to shoot it down. So there was no reason for any cover up.

MH370: Missing Malaysia Airlines flight 'will be found'

Malaysia's transport minister says he is confident the MH370 airliner which disappeared almost a year ago will be found in the southern Indian Ocean.

Liow Tiong Lai told the BBC that search teams would keep looking for the aircraft which had been carrying 239 passengers and crew.

The Malaysian airliner was on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it vanished.

Investigators are due to release a report on the search this weekend.

Australia is leading an international search team in the southern Indian Ocean, approximately 1,600km (1,000 miles) off its west coast.

Flight MH370: Could it have been suicide?

A year after the disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines plane with 239 on board, investigators still don't know what happened. Could pilot suicide have been the cause?

"Someone was looking at Penang. Someone was taking a long, emotional look at Penang. The captain was from the island of Penang."

There are times when Captain Simon Hardy's analysis of flight MH370 sends shivers down the spine. An experienced Boeing 777 captain, he knows the Asian air routes like a commuter knows short cuts home. He flew them them for 17 years.

He's convinced about something that no pilot, no passenger, nobody in fact wants to think is possible - that the captain of the flight, Zaharie Shah, deliberately hid the plane from radar and flew it thousands of miles off course, before it came down in the ocean.

He says the clues are in the route it took after it vanished from air traffic control. It turned back on itself and flew along the border of Malaysia and Thailand.

"It flew in and out of the countries eight times," he says. "This is probably very accurate flying rather than just a coincidence. As both air traffic controllers in both those countries would probably assume that the aircraft was in the other country's jurisdiction and not pay it any attention."

Search area for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 to be DOUBLED, say officials

Government ministers from Australia, China and Malaysia have been holding meetings to discuss whether to continue looking for the Boeing 777 aircraft, which disappeared in March last year without a trace.

The three governments today decided to continue funding the search and will expand it, predicting it could take up to another 12 months to cover the extended area.

A statement released by the trio said: "Should the aircraft not be found within the current search area, ministers agreed to extend the search by an additional 23,000 square miles to bring the search area to 46,000 square miles and thereby cover the entire highest probability area identified by expert analysis.
