Which country is the most favorable to refugees ?

PostAuthor: Piling » Fri Oct 28, 2016 4:09 pm

Interesting report from Amnesty International about citizens and refugees : 87% of UK citizens and 82% of French citizens are ready to welcome refugees. 96% in Germany :

Survey with graphics (in French but easy to understand) :

So it seems that our politicians making campaign about the 'citizens' fear' of refugees are pathetically wrong. Anti-refugees are nt the most numerous, they are just the loudest big mouths.

...87% of UK citizens...are ready to welcome refugees

:-D  :)) =))

NOT A CHANCE :o)

No idea where they got the figures from - total bullshit 8-}

Nobody I know wants more refugees in the UK

Truth about the UK:

Housing shortages

Due to the housing shortage in UK most single people have been removed from housing association waiting lists

Also due to housing shortage, people obtaining social housing are no longer entitled to life-long permanent housing

First they have a 1 year probation tenancy followed by a 5 year renewable contract - the contract allows social housing landlord to remove tenants easily

Other tenants who were given life-long tenancies prior to the change in the housing law are being forced to downsize after their children leave home - often allocated 3 bedroom houses when they had their children - when the children leave home the parents are charged extra rent for empty bedrooms

Nobody living in rented accommodation is in favor or UK taking more refugees - so this fact alone proves the figures are wrong

16.8 percent of UK population living in social housing

18 percent of UK population renting from private landlords

Total of 34.8 percent of UK population in rented accommodation

As stated in previous post - all those living in social housing are suffering due to the influx of refugees and the pressure on the housing market

All those living in privately rented accommodation are suffering because the chance of them being allocated social housing (far cheaper than private rented) has almost disappeared

Muslims who have made the UK their home for years strongly object to the newer more radicalized Muslims coming here

I have not found any figures but person experience tells me most Muslims do NOT want new ones coming here - they have worked very hard to be excepted here and do not want any problems

Kurds do not want anyone who is not a Kurd being allowed in the UK

The average English person does not want anymore refugees here because our health service is on the verge of collapse

Hospitals in inner cities cannot cope with not just the increase in patients but all the different languages

The education system is failing - education standards are going down - often because of children's lack of support at home due to language problems - for the first time the education system employs people as teaching aids in the classrooms

I do not know a single English person who believes this country should take in more refugees

I think the fighting should stop and the money wasted on weapons, should be spent sorting out the difficulties some countries experience and helping to build the countries - instead of providing the warring factions with weapons X(
