‘He’s living like a king’: Fury as 'neglected' family-of-10 on £44,000-per-year benefits are moved to £425,000 four-bedroom house

Sube family is moved into £425,000 house in Milton Keynes by council
Parents Arnold and Jeanne, both 33, given £44,000-a-year in benefits
They had previously complained of their 'cramped' home in Luton
Neighbours have complained about them not paying £1,200 monthly rent

A family-of-ten who receive an estimated £44,000-a-year on benefits who previously claimed to have been ‘neglected’ have been moved to a £425,000 ‘dream’ house.

Father-of-eight Arnold Sube and wife Jeanne have moved their brood into the home in Milton Keynes after previously complaining about their ‘cramped’ three-bed home in Luton.

They even turned down three moves to bigger homes and were presented with an ultimatum to accept another house or be made homeless by Luton Borough Council.

According to the Sun, they are now living in a detached property with four double bedrooms, a utility room, garage, garden and a driveway that would normally cost £1,200 per month.

The move has angered neighbours who told the paper it was ‘unfair’ the family did not have to pay rent in a ‘lovely estate’.

One neighbour told the Sun: ‘If you have eight kids you should not expect to be bailed out. The father has played the system and won.

‘They are extremely fortunate. This is a lovely estate. Parents are desperate to move here.’

Politicians have also hit out at the move considering the current housing crisis in the UK.

Luton Conservative councillor Michael Garrett described the move as a ‘result’ for the family while Conservative MP David Morris told the Sun: ‘Families up and down Britain could never dream of affording a big house like this.

'Yet they are having their noses rubbed in that fact by being made to fork out for someone else to live like a king.’

As previously reported by MailOnline, Mr Sube had initially been renting privately after moving from Paris to study mental health nursing but started having his £1,278-per-month rent covered by the local council as soon as he had lived here for the required three-month period.

The couple, both aged 33, were born in Cameron but later moved to France as teenagers moved to Britain from France and have refused to rule out adding to the family - which already consists of wife Jeanne and children Mejane, 16, 13-year-olds Fabian and Analia, Prosper, 10, Dylan, nine, six-year-old twins Sharon and Stacy, and four-month-old Mary.

They moved from Paris to Luton in 2012 after Mr Sube got a place on a mental health nursing course at the University of Bedfordshire.

The NHS funds the annual £9,000 cost of the three-year degree.

The family initially lived in a large five-bedroom semi-detached house on a quiet residential road in Luton worth £220,000.

(I suggest someone give him a packet of condoms and send him to his family home in Africa)

The council also paid £21,000 for the family’s room service and restaurant bill after Mr Sube refused to pay.

In another former house in Bletchley, the family had a range of luxury possessions including smartphones, a laptop, a 60-inch flatscreen TV and Sky HD box in their front room and a 52-inch TV in their bedroom.

Last month Mr Sube told the Mail the search for the house was not motivated by greed.

He said: ‘I’m not a greedy man, they are trying to say we are greedy but we are not.

'They just haven’t given us the property we deserve. 'We are not greedy – we just want a home for the kids.’

He previously worked in a warehouse in France, where he was able to rent a home. ‘I regretted leaving France after moving in this property, even my kids did,’ he added.

That is the practicality of modern life, which can not exist without this type of welfare. Contrary to that, we create social and political instability because of driving a large section of society to poverty and hopelessness. We have live with it and can not discriminate for whatever reason.

I am NOT prepared to pay taxes so that someone else will be able to live in more comfort than I can X(

The average English person has only 2 children - most of us only have 1 or 2 children because that is all we can afford

People who breed like rats can live like rats in the sewers for all I care :ymdevil:

This is the real world, not the ideal one. We don't pay tax so that someone else lives more comfortable. We pays tax to buy security and freedom. If we let a section of society to end up in sewers, we can not enjoy security and freedom and at the end we may end up in the sewer.

Even the Catholics in the UK limit the number of children they have which is why we have a national average of about 2 children :D

We do have many single families but even those generally limit the number of children

Traditional English people tend to only have the number of children they can afford - not breed like rats and wait for the government to pay for them X(

Nobody in the UK believes that their hard earned tax money should be spent on people who have more children than they can afford

In this instance we are not talking about security or freedom

In this particular instance we are talking about someone who has discovered how to make money from the UK's over generous benefit system

In the 4 years the family has been here it is obvious they have continued to add to their ever increasing family as a way of gaining more financial support X(

I, along with most other people, would much rather the £44,000-a-year be spent of starving Yazidis in refugee camps :ymhug:

But family with a lot of children have also more expenses ? So I doubt that it is a way to gain money.

By the way, if they are only 33, it is impressive : almost 1 child every year if they married in their 20s.

Generally, fertility decreases after 35 years for women. So we could expect soon only a child every… 3 years in that family =))

I have several African friends - they cook traditional African food which is considerably less expensive than European food - and also considerably healthier :D

I imagine many of the clothes are shared and passed down

The older children will help to look after the younger ones

This man is never going to work because he would never be able to earn enough to support himself and his tribe in such comfort

We work hard = we pay tax = we give people a better lifestyle than we can afford for ourselves X(

In Italy the migrants receive more help than out of work Italians and Italian pensioners - I expect the same is true of other countries X(
