unfortunately people of other religions like to use this as a tool to do unfair and massive missionary work. They are not out for justice but for numbers. Almost always after conversion they still retain their status outside of a cast. They use this as an excuse to tear down hindu temples, and put their own places of worship.

People that use tragedies like this, and the Bombing in sincar are cowardly and i have no respect for them what so ever.

Im a kashmiri pandit ...so let me just talk about this ...Firstly the caste system for the most part has nothing to do with religion the varna system was fluid but people /society came up with their own ways of type casting . In the north west of the country the caste system has more or less no meaning now, lots of "lower caste" people just move to another town and change their last names . That video looks to be of southern india which is VERY different from the north. The north west , Punjab and Kashmir(where im from) are heavily Persianized, not many people know that. It is common there in the southern parts , it will take a long time for the mindset there to change.

Thank you for informing me on geography, I am a little sad though. I worship Lord Muruga, which he is mostly worshiped in the south/Sri Lanka.
