Here are a few links to various posts made on YouTube by young Kurds who are starting out/experimenting with comedy and entertainment. Some of them are more refined than others but on the whole they'll put a smile on your face. Personally, I admire their courage and creativity and they did indeed make me laugh.
1.) Name: KaeKurd/Kae/Korang
A stand up comedian that is making his name on the London comedy circuit. He has a few live performances up on YouTube but this one is taken from the 3rd Kurdish Youth Festival in Washington DC. His observations on growing up as a Kurd outside Kurdistan are apt and he is particularly well timed in this performance. (If you want more info about this festival check out this post: http://northerniraq.info/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&p=62574#p62574 )

2.) Name: Van_Banaan/ListOfRandomThings
The following video was written and directed by a Kurdish girl living in America but was cleverly acted by a fellow Kurdish guy. Entitled 'Sh** Kurdish Girls Say' it takes an unflinching but endearing look at Kurdish girls caught between two cultures. Van_Banaan said her aim was to make people laugh...I think she is.

3.) Name: TheKurdose (Moe Palani, Soran & Azad Moradi)
A young group of Kurds who are perfecting their skills video by video. Whether it's due to youth or comedic style their humour can be blunt at times but still very brave and funny. The have a few videos worth perusing but here is one of my favourites.

So the best way to support these fellow Kurds is by liking, commenting and subscribing on YouTube. You can comment here but it would be more helpful to them to comment on their videos instead whether or not you liked them. I should point out that I don't know any of these people, I'm just an impressed fan. I hope you all enjoy!
