I was NOT complaining about the immigrants. I was complaining about the way they are being treated by the government. It has already started to cause trouble on some estates with attacks on refugees

Dude Anthea is not British colonialist or an imperial policy maker in 17-19th century, if she was an Australian/American, you'd have a totally legitimate case. But she is also a friend of Kurds which is rare, it makes her an honorary Kurd in my eyes. I mean look at the posts in this forum, she is more concerned about Kurds well-being than most Kurds themselves. Besides she has the right to complain about immigration in Britain, because it's her homeland. When we in Kurdistan receive immigration, some of it which is permanent, would we be at fault to complain if a newly arrived refugee/immigrant does crime?

And those governments changed now, have to say that they are not perfect, but most trusted in the world these days. The over all attitude and policies towards the Arab spring proves that, they could of helped the dictators and kept them in power, but instead they are trying to do what is right, even if it is a big risk. And Western countries are the biggest donors in the world, the US citizens and government are the most generous of all, and being the most wealthy makes it easy, but still.

No one is calling anyone colonial here or trying to shame/guilt you into something that happened in the past. Some people are still mad about the colonial history. Especially Kurds who read about colonialism and reflect on it's long-term effects on the map and geopolitics today. But most are not against you anyway. Most are pragmatic. Like I said, if you're a friend of kurds, no one cares.
